Foot traffic is not the metric
Trade show booths are measured in badge scans, but badge scans don't tell you whether anyone remembered you on the flight home. What actually travels is a physical object with your logo on it that someone chose to keep.
A sketchbot activation produces exactly that, at a rate of roughly 40 to 60 cards per hour per bot.
The setup
An outdoor branded footprint: two bots, a branded tablecloth, a live-view TV showing every drawing as it happens, and an attendant who greets, poses, and hands off. The TV is what pulls people from across the hall — motion at eye level always wins.
Cards are designed in advance with the client's colors, logo, campaign hashtag, and a short call to action on the back.
What the results looked like
Over two days, the booth ran a continuous line, produced several hundred branded keepsake cards, and generated an organic stream of attendee posts because guests filmed the arm drawing them.
Sales teams reported easier conversations: instead of opening with a pitch, they opened with "want to get drawn?" — which is a much better first question.
Making it measurable
Add a QR code to the card back that routes to a landing page or lead form. Add a customizable share page so guests can download their sketch digitally. Now you have both the physical keepsake and the attribution.
