Participation is optional
Nobody is required to be drawn. Guests choose to step up to the bot, and our on-site attendant will always stop or skip a portrait on request.
What we do with a guest photo, what we don't, and how optional QR lead capture works.

A guest photo is captured only to generate that guest's sketch and, when requested, their digital copy of the finished card. Photos are processed on our local event hardware — the activation does not depend on venue Wi-Fi.
Guest photos are not sold, not used for advertising profiles, and not shared with third parties. Working image files are deleted after the event once digital copies have been delivered.
We may photograph or film the setup and finished sketches for our own portfolio. Clients can ask us in writing before the event to turn that off, and any individual guest can decline on the spot.
For corporate and trade-show activations, a QR opt-in can be placed at the head of the queue. It is optional for the guest, clearly labeled with who receives the information and why, and the form copy is approved by the client before the event.
Captured contact details belong to the client. We pass the list to the client after the event and delete our working copy. We do not add captured contacts to our own marketing lists.
When you submit a quote request or specials form, we store your name, email, phone, event details and message so we can respond and prepare a proposal. We use that information only to communicate with you about your event.
Email us at info@sketchthemoment.com to see, correct or delete the information you sent us.
